Now retired having worked in insurance for many years.

Studied photography at Derby (Master of Arts in Photographic Studies).

Won Landscape section of Black & White Photography magazine
"Photographer of the Year" 2008.

2010 - "New York at Night" at Brevon Art, Doncaster and subsequently at Cooper Gallery, Barnsley.

2012 - "Rhaeadr Ddu" at the Welsh Museum of Modern Art and at the Cooper Gallery, Barnsley.

2015 - "The High Lines" at Buxton Museum & Art Gallery and at North End Gallery, Wirksworth in 2016.

2017 "Mirrors, Windows and Shadows" at the Museum of Modern Art, Machynlleth.

2018 "Four Sea Quartets" at North End Gallery, Wirksworth.

2022 Concurrent exhibitions at The Ropewalk Gallery, Barton upon Humber:-

"Here Silence Stands" Photographs from Spurn.
"Mirrors, Windows and Shadows" Thoughts on the photographic image in the age of the selfie.
